A diverse selection of freeriding films from Finland and around the world will be showcased on the big screen. Between screenings, you can get into the spirit of the upcoming season and enjoy the slopes of Pyhä!

SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT FOR THE DIY FREERIDE FILM NIGHT

DIY (Do It Yourself) is all about creating things with the resources you have available, without big budgets, relying on your own creativity, passion, and determination to bring your vision to life.

Submit your own freeride film project for a chance to be featured in the evening's program, or come along to watch and support the filmmakers! The audience attending the DIY Film Night will vote for their favorite projects and decide the winners.

The event is free of charge and open to all ages.

 

COMPETITION RULES

  • The application period is October 9 - November 22, 2026, until 11:59 PM.
  • A jury will review all submissions and select the finalist projects to be screened at the DIY Freeride Film Night on December 4, 2026, at Mesta.
  • Finalists will have the opportunity to introduce their film with a short presentation before the screening.
  • The winners will be decided by an audience vote conducted during the event.
  • The top three films will be awarded prizes.
